Each book is assembled without the use of large machines, by hand, with hemp cover and endpaper options selected for durability, sustainability, minimal environmental impact, and beauty. Info: Loving Hut is a bright takeaway styled restaurant where you order at the counter, though it has several tables where eat in meals are served just as well. Choices are shown on a wall menu and offer a small but diverse range of world food from snacks like french fries and vietnamese rolls to main courses such as spaghetti bolognese and Beijing Black Bean. Drinks include various types of tea, iced coffee and even beer: Birell, classed as a soft drink due to its low alcohol content. There are also desserts including cake. An international franchise of Suma Ching Hai’s organisation, Loving Hut uses takeaway containers made of sugarcane fibre that compost and fully degrade.

Info: As it’s name suggests, Threeworlds Organic Pizza Cafe serves largely organic food and drinks centred around pizza. Rising in August 2008 out of the defunct Pizza Patch, Threeworlds Cafe has the distinction of being Australia’s first vegan eatery that asks you to pay what you feel rather than having set prices. The cafe’s associated with the adjoining Threeworlds drum store, where you can also get a variety of vegan drums and other equipment (not all products are vegan).
