Drizzly weather wasn’t going to keep people away from the harbourside venue of the VeganExpo on Sunday. A nice stream of folks circulated throughout the day, keeping stalls occupied to the end – except for Viva Cupcakes, whose wonderful looking creations sold out well beforehand.
Along with the stalls, there were some interesting and controversial talks, Brian Sherman announced a $25,000 grant ‘against factory farming’, and music along with a touch of bellydancing provided a diversion for people as well as a rest from stallhopping.
In amongst this, both Steve Kilbey and Lindsay McDougall injected their brand name, expo quality humour.
